Penny is a tiny two pound poodle who is as cute as they come! Unfortunately,
she had a difficult time with her dental surgery because her teeth and
jaw bone had decayed so much. During the surgery, her body temperature
dropped to a dangerously low level and they had to stop in the middle
of her procedure because her little body couldn't handle it anymore.
She seemed to be doing better the next day, but the following night
her foster mother awoke to find Penny limp and lethargic. She was rushed
to the emergency room where they stabilized her and she is now in the
hospital on IV fluids and being fed with a syringe. They need to do
more tests and have an ultrasound done to find out what is causing Penny's
problems. Her bill is already at $974 and with the remaining tests the
cost of her care will be reaching the $2000 mark. Even though her name
is "Penny" we think she is worth a million and hope she touches
the hearts of others who will help us raise the funds. Won't you be
